Huge thanks for making us all smile and laugh so much last Saturday with The Dragon's Tale. You transported us into a world of magic that was just so enjoyable. I could see the kids engaged, and you do it all with such ease! Artistic Director - Deal Festival of Music and the Arts

“The audience (both adults and children!) were thoroughly mesmerised by Paul and his puppets. A fun, energetic show for all the family to enjoy”

Many Thanks to Paul Batten from Theatrix Arts for performing a thoroughly entraining show, which totally engaged the children and parents. The Dragon’s Tale performance was followed by a workshop, where youngsters had the opportunity to make and take home a knight or a dragon.
It was also lovely to see the children be creative and ‘re-enact’ the story with their newly made knights and dragons –The whole package was good value for money and Paul was very flexible with all arrangements leading up to the performance

'We commissioned Paul from Theatrix Arts to undertake his lovely performance of 'A Dragon's Tale' with us as part of a 'ArtsHouse on Tour' a children's arts & crafts Festival. From start to finish Paul is a seasoned professional with a wonderful warm personality and real ability to engage both children and parents in an amusing and fun way. The performance was enthralling with much hilarity and opportunities for people to join in pantomime style. The workshop was also excellent with high quality outcomes and satisfaction all round. I would not hesitate in recommending Paul to any group or organisation as I am convinced he would not disappoint!'

"Many thanks Paul for an excellent show and the children along with grown ups thoroughly enjoyed the show! Your enthusiasm, artistry and traditional elements all come together in a lovely story and so nice to see children not glued to the TV for an hour but enthralled by a lovely, superbly told folktale.......you will be back of that I can assure you!"

“The children thoroughly enjoyed the “A Dragon’s Tale”. The show is expertly produced and performed, and gives the audience a real insight into top-drawer puppetry. There are plenty of laughs (and gasps!), and the performance provides an experience of medieval story-telling at its best”.

"I just thought I would drop you a line to say thanks for your performances at the Rose on Sunday. I was at the 11.30am with my 2 ½ year old and we really enjoyed it. His favourite bit was the squirting water – just so you know! I thought there were so many enjoyable elements and it was perfectly pitched for our under 6 audience. The dragon was wonderful and the little playground at the end was very charming. A friend who is an early years practitioner also attended with her 2 little ones and really enjoyed it as did another friend and her 2 little boys – so good feedback all round I think".
Theatre Manager the Rose Theatre Kingston on Thames

“All the children had a wonderful time and the parents came back be following week saying how all the children have been playing with their puppets all week. You did a fantastic job incorporating many performance styles into the show and we will definitely have you back again!”

Thanks for a fantastic day Theatrix Arts. The kids loved it and left pretending to be dragons as they ran out the door with their puppets! See you again soon.
